Located on the popular Newbury Street and in the historic Copley Square, Co|So is proud to be based in Boston. With its art, culture, and picturesque scenery, it is no wonder that many of our Boston-based artists tend to find artistic inspiration from the city itself.
Last week, the Co|So gallery participated in the final Open Newbury Street event for Summer 2017. The artist demonstrations, chalk drawings, and pleasant weather brought many visitors in to see the gallery.

With the opening of our small works exhibition, “Autumn Aura,” it finally feels like fall! Our artist members depicted a cornucopia of fall-themed subjects including leaves and gourds and spooks (oh my)! As we turn over a new leaf into our newest small works exhibition, we will look into the ten small works that received awards of merit.

Copley Master John Traynor has built an astounding following and reputation ever since he became a professional artist more than thirty years ago. Exhibiting a talent for art at a young age, John Traynor has mastered his skills over the years to create his own recognizable, unique style. His style and paintings are so distinct that the best way to describe them is to simply say “John Traynor.”
