Debra Keirce is a contemporary realist painter. She paints what she fancies, from 2 inches to 4 feet tall. Many of her paintings are "true" miniatures and fit in the palm of your hand. She enjoys demonstrating her techniques which involve the use of magnifying glasses and close range binoculars.
Born in Detroit in 1961, Debra worked as a biochemical engineer in Boston at biotech companies and then in Indianapolis at Eli Lilly and Company during the 1980's and 1990's. She then built her commission business and began her career as a full time professional artist. Her goal is to be the best classical realist painter she can. Debra is represented by several fine galleries and has numerous awards, as well as paintings in corporate and museum collections. Learn more about her at her website at DebKArt.com.
