Artist Member Elizabeth will be giving a FREE demo of her technique for creating artwork with deconstructed wasp nests at the gallery this Saturday, April 14th, starting at 2:30 PM. In her own words:

“With this unexpected material and my proprietary technique, I collage on wood board. I tear the naturally pigmented cellulose fiber into small pieces, arranging them to form patterns and evoke ephemeral moods. The result is organic, modern, and mysterious. The work often resembles paint, stone, leather and fur, appearing simultaneously soft and hard.”
