This year, Co|So has seen a great deal of change. From new leadership, to invigorated programming, and our strategic plans for the future, we are filled with gratitude for the renewed energy, creativity, and community that has grown within the Copley Society of Art.

Together, we have honored our history as the oldest nonprofit art association in the United States while paving a new path, one that uplifts and sustains artists at every stage of their careers.

But this is only the beginning. Our plans for the future are ambitious and essential, and they require extra support from passionate friends like you.

2025 saw the introduction of the Emerging Artist Membership tier. This initiative lowers financial barriers for early-career artists, connecting them with mentorship, professional development, and exhibition opportunities.

This year, Co|So also launched free resources for students through the Portfolio Review Committee and Student Membership.

Co|So hosted 22 workshops & demonstrations, nine of which were specifically dedicated to professional development—free to our artist members. Topics ranged from Legal Issues in the Arts to Building an Artistic Portfolio, Gallery Representation, Estate Planning, and more.

Our exhibitions remain central to Co|So’s mission to connect artists with the public. This year we’ve expanded programming to include artist activations and collaborative events, deepening audience engagement while amplifying artists’ voices.
