Artist Statement Workshop with Natalie Terenzini
An artist statement provides valuable context for an artist’s body of work, helping potential patrons and galleries connect with the artwork, providing support for the awarding of grants and residencies, and allowing for deeper engagement across the board.
Like a frame, the statement can complement an artist’s work or diminish its impact. So what should it include?
Join NYC-based painter and instructor Natalie Terenzini for an hour-long workshop exploring how to craft an artist statement that will show your work in its best light.
Natalie Terenzini is a painter living and working in Brooklyn, NY. She holds degrees from both Laguna College of Art and Design and The New York Academy of Art. Terenzini’s work has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions in NYC and internationally. Recent exhibitions include Plato, NYC and PMAM, London.
