The Fresh Paint Party
Fresh Paint: Fresh Facades marks the 38th iteration of the Copley Society of Art’s long-standing annual fundraiser, originally established in 1988.
In celebration of the renovation of the building’s facade earlier this spring, the theme of this year’s party is Fresh Facades.
The event reimagines the traditional auction as a simpler exhibition experience for participating artists and art enthusiasts alike. The new format reflects the forward momentum and evolution of our historic organization as we approach our 150th anniversary and begin an exciting new chapter.
The evening will feature live music, beautiful catering, and artworks by artists of the Copley Society of Art, with proceeds benefitting our Student Membership program, our Access Fund to support artists in financial need, our free public programming, and other gallery offerings.
How does it work?
Artists create original work in a shared 10×10 format, each priced at $300, making collecting accessible and exciting for both new and longtime supporters. More than an exhibition, Fresh Paint is an opportunity to connect with artists, discover new work, and invest in a vibrant creative community.
In attending Fresh Paint Party, you directly support Co|So’s continued growth and our ability to serve student, emerging, and established artists through exhibitions, professional development, mentorship, and community-building programs.
What should I wear?
Come in your “freshest” outfit, whether that means crisp linens, 90’s streetwear, floral greenery, or your brightest fit! Best dressed will win a prize.
