In conjunction with our current Upper Gallery show, “‘A Shared Space:’ One Studio – Two Views,” one of the leading artists, Margaret Sheldon, will be hosting an artist talk. Sheldon, primarily a studio painter, renders the complexity of botanical subjects and other organic materials in close proximity to explore the worlds within and beyond nature’s objects.

Born in The Bronx, educated in New England, Sheldon is painting in the South End of Boston these days with her studio in the SOWA district, at 450 Harrison Ave.
