Co|So is excited to invite you to join guest artist Stacy DiMeglio for a FREE demonstration showcasing the preliminary stages of an oil painting by using a burnt sienna acrylic wash. Specializing in acrylic and oil painting, Stacy draws inspiration from her own photography to create serene landscapes. Influenced by the vivid colors and shifting forms of sunrises and sunsets seen from both land and air, her work captures moments of tranquility and natural beauty.

Discover how she bring her canvases to life by unifying tone and energy from the very first layer. Learn how warm base hues, complementary colors, and techniques like sgraffito and glazing add depth, light, and atmosphere. Watch as details emerge using thin layers of oil paint, building the scene from background to foreground with color theory as the guide.
