In conjunction with our annual National show – Expression Now: An Impressionist Approach, Guest Artist, Tristan Olsen will be leading a FREE demo of his painting practice centered around using skateboards as his canvas! The event begins this Saturday, June 14th, starting at 12:00 PM. If you’re in the city for the day’s events why not stop by and see how Tristan crafts these impactful works?

Tristan Olsen is an artist based out of Framingham, Massachusetts. Approaching impressionism with a skateboarding DIY mindset, he seeks to capture the world showing all the scars of progress. Both art and skateboarding take trial and error; through this effort the broken-board paintings grow new life. They embody the local skatescapes, parks, and locals, which they are sourced from and appreciate.
