Since, 1879 the Copley Society has enjoyed a rich history of exhibiting stunning landscapes and masterfully rendered marine art. In this thematic juried show, salient intersections of “land and sea” are creatively explored anew.
We invite your entries and interpretations of the “land and sea” connections theme. The exhibition will be hosted in the Society’s Boston gallery on historic Newbury Street from June 17th through July 18th, 2021. The show is open to all artists residing in the United States.
*(Depending upon directives issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts regarding COVID-related restrictions in June, this exhibition could be held online rather than in person)
The jurying of work and all awards will be made by nationally-recognized master marine artist Donald Demers. Selection, awards, and the gallery staff’s placement of work (if the exhibition is held in person) shall be final.
