Join gallerist and writer Michael Rose for a fun and casual meetup for younger and emerging artists at the Copley Society of Art.
Drinks with Artists is a series of casual monthly drinks meet ups geared towards younger and emerging artists in New England. Started by Michael in 2024, the event moves to a new venue every month and welcomes artists and art lovers to gather, meet, and connect. On September 27 from 6-9pm, the gathering will take place at the Copley Society of Art at 158 Newbury Street in Boston. Admission is free and no tickets or reservations are required. Beer, wine, and soft drinks will be available for purchase. This will be our first gathering in Boston, so don’t miss it!!
The Copley Society of Art was founded in 1879 by the first graduating class of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. It is the oldest non-profit art association in the nation. Located at 158 Newbury Street in the heart of Back Bay, Co|So is just a five minute walk from Back Bay Station. On view during Drinks with Artists, there will be a Juried Members Show titled Gather.
Michael Rose is a gallerist and writer based in Providence, RI. Since 2014 he has served as the gallery manager at the historic Providence Art Club. He also edits the popular weekly newsletter, New England Art News, sharing free resources for artists throughout the region.
