My Little Peace
60×48, acrylic on canvas
valued at $5,000

“Many people enjoy time in nature looking up, looking to the sky and the horizon. I do admire those vast views but I’m drawn to the small spaces, dioramas curated by the bits and bobs that fall through time and exist together in delicate arrangements. This level where organic matter degrades and fertilizes new life is decorated with pebbles, shells, bones and cones, sea glass and shifting sand. In My Little Peace, I share something small that is mighty and beautiful. I share the small spaces where I find peace.” – Amy Roberts

Amy Roberts is a member of the Western Avenue Artists Association, the Whistler House Museum of Art/Lowell Art Association, and a colleague of the United States Veterans’ Artist Alliance. She has had numerous solo exhibitions and her work has been featured in publications such as Art Scope and House & Garden.

Morning Sail
11×9, oil
valued at $500

“There is no mystery when a viewer looks at my oil paintings. Starting with composition; the way I paint and lay down my colors; the lines, short brushstrokes, masses of color, my use of light and its reflections, point to impressionism. This is my way of seeing nature.” – Kathryn A. McMahon, 2021

Kathryn McMahon is a member of the Copley Society of Art and the Salmagundi Club; a signature member of the American Society of Marine Artists, the American Impressionist Society Inc., the International Plein Air Painters, and the Plein Air Artists of Colorado; and has been awarded the titles of Master Signature and Emeritus Member of the Women Artists of the West.

Solstice Gathering
13×15, acrylic on canvas
valued at $600

Ann Marie O’Dowd began her artistic career in photography, earning a BA from Massachusetts College of Art, but later switched to painting. She loves the way liquid paint moves across the canvas, and finds it satisfying to smear, sculpt, pull, draw, and stamp with paint, preferably acrylic. O’Dowd starts her process by looking to her black and white photographs for inspiration, which provides a solid composition and the freedom to invent her own color palette. She hopes to inspire others to explore the physical qualities of paint, and to utilize art making as a creative outlet. Ann Marie O’Dowd is affiliated with the Concord Art Association, Newton Art Association, North River Art Association, and South Shore Art Association, in addition to the Copley Society of Art.

Marieluise Hutchinson is a self-taught artist from Massachusetts and Maine, who draws inspiration from “roads less travelled” and the distinct seasons of New England. She brings a deep respect and sensitivity for the commonplace as she records the passage of time of vanishing homesteads, fields, and farmlands of rural America. Hutchinson often features American flags in her work, drawing on the patriotism she experienced growing up in the 1950’s.

Marieluise Hutchinson is a Copley Master, a Master Artist at the Cape Cod Art Association, and a member of the Cape Cod Museum of Art. She also has a permanent collection at the Cahoon Museum of American Art and the Cape Cod Museum of Art.
