Co|So is excited to announce our next workshop this season, ran by Amor Díaz Campos, Artist Practice Fellow at the Arts & Business Council of Greater Boston and Curatorial Coordinator at the Boston Public Art Triennial
Amor will share her experience working with both artists and galleries. In this workshop, you will explore the principles, best practices, and mindsets that enable artists to thrive in their partnerships with commercial and nonprofit galleries. Providing insights to help you navigate relationships and identify opportunities that will support your creative practice.
This workshop is appropriate for artists of all disciplines and at all career levels.
Amor Díaz-Campos is a Cuban-born curator, arts consultant, and administrator based in Boston. She holds a Master’s in Arts Administration from Boston University and a Bachelor’s in Social Communication from Havana University. Amor serves as the Artists Practice Fellow at the Arts and Business Council of Greater Boston and the Boston Public Art Triennial Curatorial Coordinator. In 2019, she co-founded the Biennial Ríos Intermitentes in Matanzas, Cuba, alongside Cuban artist María Magdalena Campos-Pons. Recognized by Hyperallergic as one of the top 15 exhibitions of 2019, the biennial addresses memory, heritage, identity, and race while tackling the current needs of the Matanzas community. Amor is passionate about the healing and restorative power of art. She believes that artists hold the key to finding creative solutions to the most pressing issues of our time.
