Nicole Alger: Virtual Renderings

Lower Gallery April 4 - May 4, 2024Co|So is pleased to present a solo exhibition in our Lower Gallery Alcove, by artist member Nicole Alger. In Virtual Renderings Alger displays the work she created while working with her models remotely. Many of these drawings were born from Zoom gatherings at the beginning of Covid when Alger drew alongside other realist artists looking for a way to gather, as well as to support the art models who were suddenly out of work. These sessions were a way to keep her skills in working order through a shared drawing practice, and ultimately proved to produce some fantastic drawings.
