Alongside the highway that stretches between Yellowstone and Cody, there stands a lonely Big Boy. In 2022, my friends and I visited the Rocky Mountains and Yellowstone National Parks. On our last day in Yellowstone, we drove past the lonely Big Boy on our way home. I caught a glimpse as we zoomed by and begged my friend to turn around immediately so I could take pictures with my 35 mm camera. Later, we discovered that James Geier placed this sculpture there in 2013 as a tribute to the mid-20th-century icon.
