The following artwork was made directly from life by techniques taught at the Academy of Realist Art Boston. The cast compositionally emphasizes the significance of light logic and nuanced details that are captured especially when observing an object in person. The Florentine girl evokes a sense of calmness and acts as a personal portrayal of femininity. Creating the piece represented the significance of trusting the process and overcoming the struggles faced when self doubt arises. The journey in establishing the piece had taken time and patience but overall came with many new wonderful lessons.
