My artistic practice focuses on capturing life from observation and conveying a mood of that moment. “Division” is a moment that was captured in my hometown of Spokane, WA. A summer evening at twilight with a candy apple red Chevrolet shining under the florescent light of the gas station was reminiscent of a Hollywood noir film. The white elephant now closed, and the city scape is desolate, but the car entices with a prospect unknown, “where will it go?”
