My process includes hand painting paper, cutting, tearing, and sewing to reassemble layered pieces into a sculptural collage. I incorporate found materials with a past life – such as fabric remnants, a handwritten grocery list on the back of an envelope, or old blueprints. The resulting compositions are a testament to the histories these materials hold and the precarious nature of memory.
