Bobby Baker, CA
An artistic journey that began in the late 1970’s as an assistant to a Palm Beach, Florida event photographer leading to extensive travel across the U.S., the Caribbean, Mexico, the Florida Keys and finally dropping anchor on Cape Cod is at the heart of Bobby Baker’s art. Bobby’s work has always been shaped by his love of seaside life, and remains so to this day, living with his wife Dena on Cape Cod.
Baker’s award winning photographic art has been widely published in magazines, books, and on websites, and his limited-edition prints have been exhibited in numerous galleries and included in private collections internationally. His coastal work has been featured by the Office of Massachusetts Travel and Tourism and the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce.
Bobby has been awarded Copley Artist status by the prestigious Copley Society of Art in Boston. His fine art gallery and studio are in the village of Cataumet on Cape Cod.

are iconic in the same way as noted photographer Ansel Adams’ are.” -
Haley Cote, Associate Editor, Cape Cod Life Magazine.
“Bobby Baker is one of New England’s best coastal photographers. His artistry really shines as he uses the limitations of black and white photography to shoot shadow and light with lasting emotional resonance.” -
Robert Whitcomb, Vice President/Editorial Page Editor-Providence Journal.
“Beautifully crafted and elegant photographs...monochrome images soar with crescendos that almost let you hear the surf and be swept along with it ... remarkable photography” -
