Emma Condon

Emma Condon (b.2003) is a Lynnfield based multi-media artist, who primarily works with oil and egg tempera. She received her BFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2026. Her work utilizes motifs from the infrastructure she grew up around across Massachusetts’ North Shore. Houses, cars, and roads are placed together, superimposed, to represent bodily experiences in a spatial manner. Transparency and mark-making are crucial elements in her approach to painting. She aligns their opposing forces, struggle and reservedness, to capture modern life. Beyond painting, Condon is an avid sketchbooker, often taking note of structures and real-life scenes to reference on canvas.
