Jeanette Fournier

Jeanette is a watercolor artist whose work is inspired by nature, particularly the northern areas of New Hampshire and Vermont where she lives. Her artwork of animals, birds and nature comes from a passion for and love of the natural world in which she grew up and extended to other wild places where she has lived and explored over the years.
She specializes in illustrative watercolor paintings of animals, birds and nature, which reflect a distinct and original style. Her meticulous attention to detail is one of the hallmarks of her artwork. She is drawn to create artwork of the wild creatures in our world so we will remember them. She wants her art to remind people of the importance of saving the natural places around us as well as the importance of being a part of them. She hopes her art will inspire people to stay connected to our wild spaces. In the same ways in which we are drawn to be in the nature around us, she hopes you will be drawn into the nature of her art.
She is a member of the American Watercolor Society, a signature member of the New England Watercolor Society and the Vermont Watercolor Society and a member of the Society of Animal Artists.
