John Storrow
I was born in New London Connecticut in 1965. Much later I went to Art School at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston and got a Bachelor’s in Art in 1988. Around that time I started working as a guard at The MFA to make ends meet. I’m still protecting the Art collection and the visitors there today.

3D ideas made palpable—
These vivid 3D ideas, they pop into my head constantly, they always have. They come from my keen interest in physics and motion. It’s exciting to put these ideas down on paper and wood panels, in order to preserve them, and actually see what they look like. I am merely acting as a conduit, or a channel, from which these paintings come. For me, the physical act of painting itself is a form of meditation which puts me squarely in the present moment, alive and using my senses, observing what comes from the conduit, like every one else.
