Judith Robichaud

Judith is an artist from Roslindale who finds inspiration in local landscapes, especially within Boston’s parks and urban wilds. Judith often paints overlooked species such as pigeons and house sparrows as way to connect her viewers with the beauty found all around us. As a city dweller, these creatures offer a connection to nature and the respite the natural world offers.

Judith maintains a studio practice in Hyde Park and often spends time hiking and birding nearby along the Neponset River and the Arnold Arboretum. She is an avid birdwatcher and observer of nature and takes what she sees to inspire her paintings. She is also an instructor at the Menino Arts Center where she teaches oil painting and workshops.
