Sally Newman, CA

Sally Newman creates meticulously executed cityscapes, still life, and landscapes which captures the vitality of the life around her. Her use of intense, saturated color and bold, dynamic composition provides a dimension of animation to work rich in detail and rhythmic in formal organization. Her medium is oil on canvas.
A graduate of City College of New York with an additional degree in fine arts from Notre Dame College in Manchester, New Hampshire, Ms. Newman has been shown by numerous galleries throughout the United States. Her work has been widely noted in the art press and received many national awards.
In Huffingtonpost.com in 2012, an article was written by Vicky Tiel on National Association of Women Artists annual exhibit in which she mentions Ms. Newman’s art work.
Awards include: Manhattan Arts International, National Association of Women Artists, National Society of Artists, American Artists Magazine and others.
Her membership in numerous art associations include: New Hampshire Art Association – NH; National Association of Women Artists – NYC, NY; Copley Society of Art – Boston, MA. Her paintings are in private collections throughout the country.
