Sue Dragoo Lembo, CA

Sue Dragoo Lembo majored in illustration and Design at Mass College of Art.

Sue worked as both a technical illustrator and graphic designer. However, her creative yearning was not completely satisfied. She was fortunate enough to become a student of master painter John Kilroy from Hull Massachusetts. She credits him for helping her build a solid foundation in painting. She also took countless workshops with some of the best known painters in the country including Kim English, Don Stone, Qiang Huang, Carol Marine and Albert Handel just to name a few.

As a seasoned artist Sue continues to experiment and push the boundaries of both her subjects and painting mediums, which now include oil, acrylic and alcohol ink. It’s a constant journey of learning and enjoying the process along the way. Her skills as an illustrator and graphic designer have heavily influence her paintings. Sue believes strong design is the most important aspect of any work of art.
