Susan Penney Marion

I'm a New England based artist. I received my BFA in Painting from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where I spent a semester in Europe studying the masters. After college I specialized in mural painting. I spent ten plus years painting murals in residences and small businesses up and down the East Coast. In 2019 I became part of an atelier with the Boston School of Painting with Paul Ingbretson. It was during my 2 years with the Boston School that my journey of truly seeing as a painter began, as well as, a deeper understanding of value, line, composition and color. I continue to be humbled by the the beauty of nature and the subtle nuances that create moments in time. My hope is to share feelings of peace and joy with others.
