A no-nonsense fire-hose of information that includes everything you need to know to make better representational drawings and paintings, led by Julie Beck, the Assistant Director of the Academy of Realist Art, Boston’s premier atelier training program.
While being self taught is sometimes used as a badge of honor, it’s often a coded excuse for lack of abilities. Julie knows this because she did the same thing.
Receiving a classical atelier arts education is already strapping a rocket booster to your abilities, but the reality is that very few have the ability to drop everything and attend an atelier full time or even part time. So even if you don’t have the ability to train at an atelier in person, you can take this information and deep dive at your own pace into the many elements that are taught in technical training. Who needs four years of Atelier training when you have Julie cramming all this information into your face?
After an in depth lecture, Julie will roast 3 paintings/drawings that were submitted in advance.
