Impressionism’s focus on everyday life, bold brushwork and luminous color palettes challenged conventions and redefined beauty-not as something confined to history and perfection, but as something immediate, personal, and alive. In this year’s National Show, open to all residing in the United States, Co|So invites artists working in any medium to explore the fleeting, the vibrant and the realness that Impressionism dared to capture. This exhibition seeks works that carry forward that spirit of defiance and discovery.

We are not seeking reproductions of known works of art, but rather an exploration of Impressionist ideals and elements can be reimagined in modern or personal expressions. Consider how the interplay of color, innovative perspectives, emotion, rebellion and diverse mediums can reflect today’s world. We look forward to seeing your interpretations!

The show will be juried for inclusion and awards by Daisy Alejandre, Curatorial Assistant of Contemporary Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
