Artist Spotlight: Debra Keirce

Upcoming Exhibition

November 1 - 30, 2026

In this Artist Window Spotlight, Co|So is proud to highlight Signature Member Debra Keirce’s artwork in the front facing windows of the gallery. The pieces will be on view from November 1st – 30th.

Statement from the exhibiting artist: “I am a contemporary realist painter and draughtsman. I have achieved master artist recognitions in oil painting and charcoal drawing.

My work is not merely about meticulous rendering. It is about creating a visual story that leads the viewer into an intimate narrative. I believe that painting and drawing are acts of a sophisticated magic – a flat surface transformed into a moment of palpable, three-dimensional reality.

My artistic process is founded on precision and problem-solving, skills honed during my prior career as a biochemical design engineer. This rigor is applied to exploring subjects, often inspired by travel.

My “Good As Gold” exhibition in the Copley Society of Art’s windows is a collection of golden moments witnessed across America. There is a story behind each piece. Often the serene scenes in the paintings are a far cry from what was going on behind me at the time. Some golden moments are very entertaining when you know the whole story, and even more fun when you, the viewer, write the next chapter!” – Debra Keirce, Signature Artist Member
