A meander down my Funk

Coming out of the pandemic, I felt an insatiable urge to release all the pent-up stress and fear and sadness and apocalypse. I wanted to feel alive again. Drawing is one of my oldest ways of living. I am inspired by anything and everything. Sometimes I am not. I’d like to think that my friend in this image is having fun, walking down into a place care-free, enjoying the space and the plant-friends and the animal-friends. Perhaps I am walking there with my friends too. It takes me a long time to make these images and while it can be a real pain sometimes, it’s what I must do.
