This is my first work in the “Spheres of Influence and Inspiration” Series.

“At the Stroke of Midnight” captures a fleeting moment where structured forms and spontaneous expression converge with a goal of vibrant energy. Committed to my creative process while embracing the exhibition theme, this work reflects new ideas and an expanded technical approach. Geometric elements interplay with gestural, almost musical brushstrokes, reflecting my personal and immediate response to the rhythms of contemporary experience. This work attempts to explore a modern reimagining of Impressionist ideals, where the ‘spheres of influence’ of artistic tradition inspire a unique visual language. The luminous color palette and the suggestion of a ‘transient instance’ aim to evoke a sense of the ‘alive’ and the ‘realness’ that Impressionism dared to capture, pushing beyond convention through diverse techniques and a spirit of discovery.
