Erosion of Time

This photograph was taken on the southern shore of Noepe (Martha’s Vineyard). The bolder centered in the image has emerged from the cliffside after substantial winter erosion. The Cliffs are a sacred place to the Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head; “imprinted with one hundred million years of history”.
