These pieces contain imagery from Caroline’s new public artwork “Hub and Tide” which will wrap a building in Boston’s Seaport beginning later this summer. The combination of DNA and industrial shipping images refers to the creative potential released through exposure to the new, whether that new comes from gene editing, or international trade.
