Still Life Adjacent
| This painting is an attempt to look away from my curated and artificial still lives and towards the natural clutter of everyday life. It is a scene from my studio space at MassArt, where I spend a lot of my time and have used as inspiration for many paintings that have focused on direct observation. I love depicting shiny surfaces, and did my best to represent the light from our large north-facing windows. |
