Subway Series: Jackson Square

“Jackson Square” is a single iteration from a larger body of work I’ve titled the “Subway Series”. The series consist of aerial portraits of Boston’s T stations, highlighting their surrounding landmarks and the transit interactions on both street level and underground. This work is the first print in this series, all prior being gouache on found paper. This project initially started as a coping mechanism for my lack of routine during the early days of the pandemic, but quickly evolved into my capstone project from undergrad.
