Created during the quiet hours before dawn, this work represents a free-spirited, experimental leap into the creative process. By layering hand-carved woodcut trial proof remnants from both the 1970s and 1990s with modern acrylic, ink, pencil, and transparent acetate sections, it invites the viewer to observe the natural world through a fresh, imaginative perspective. The piece is presented in a natural oiled walnut floater frame built in the artist’s studio.
