The second movement in this winter two-part series, representing a storm’s reluctant but windy end and return to a more peaceful, calming, moonlit storm’s aftermath. In contrast to the blizzard-like energy of its companion piece, this work utilizes serene layers of cool color and quiet geometric structures to evoke the silent, glistening landscape of a deepening winter night.
